Welcome to Concept Golf
You can be a consistent golfer – a consistently good shot maker and shoot consistently low scores. You have all the abilities and capabilities in you right now. Therefore the Concept Golf tag line, “the game within you.” The question is, what’s holding you back? There are a few things you don’t know and they are what are holding you back. What is it that you don’t know? A few principles, that’s all. Principles are those ideas that are the same for everyone, they never change over time and they create the positive effects you want. Once you understand and accept these few principles, your golf swing and your golf game will improve. And your improvement will be permanent.
You see, the only way to really change your swing and your golf game is to change your internal “picture” of the swing and the game. You cannot make any real changes by trying to directly change what your body is doing. That’s the approach of most instruction that uses mechanics and positions to assault your body; the theory of the moment.
Real improvement can only happen from the inside out never from the outside in. We know your perfect swing and your perfect golf game are within you right now. Let’s go find them so you can really enjoy the game.

John:
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your wonderful book “Golf, It Can’t Be This Simple – The Swing”. At first I didn’t quite believe the simple concepts that you discussed. I have read countless golf self improvement books and taken numerous lessons. The one thing that stuck in my mind was that if the golf swing really was as simple and fundamental as you stated in your book, than how come the professional instructors and authors couldn’t also capture such simple concepts? I still have no answer to this. But what I do know is that your concepts have radically changed my golf game. I have gone from the point where hitting a sweet solid shot was nothing but a statistical anomaly to the point where it’s the miss-hits that are the anomaly Did your book make me a great golfer? No. But it’s taken me from plain bad to respectable. Now I can get out on the course with any weekend golfer and consistently break 100 with many very decent shots. The game is actually fun. The advice you give in the book is absolutely dead on…at least for me. Obviously there are many fine golfers who have acquired excellent golf skills without the benefits of your book; but for me, your book held the key. The simplicity is brilliant and just clearing ones mind of all the other ‘baggage’ freed me to actually play the game. I just wish I had the book a few years earlier.
Thank you.

John
I wanted to let you know of my success using the principles from your book “Golf Can’t be this Simple”. I read your book two weeks ago and have hit two buckets of balls,
I normally shoot 90-92, my first round using your principles resulted in an 82.
Thank You,

Hi John,
I received Golf Can’t Be This Simple-The Swing. I read it in a day and am impressed. All I think about is getting the weight shifting and the rest falls into place. The five principles are so simple it is scary. Could I get a copy of your book on Playing The Game.
